Last summer (2013), my family and I went to California. That was the first time I have been to California. Our flight was at 6:00 p.m. Hawaii time. We arrived in California 12:00 a.m. Hawaii Time, 4:00 a.m. California time. That morning, we went to Universal Studios, and Lego Land. It was so much fun, I had a blast !! Since I’m so used to Hawaii Time, I woke up 3:00 in the morning (California time).  2 days later, I went to Six Flags with my mom, sister, and irritating brother. I think the best ride at Six Flags is the Dare Devil Dive. I was so scared. It’s like you’re flying in the air! Another ride I think is fun/scary is the Sling Shot. It’s scary, but fun. They strap you in and they pull you down, and let go. Then you tart flying in the air. I would tell you more, but I got to go.

There is a lot of important things to me in in the world. But the most important thing to me in the entire world is my family. Friends will come and go but family will always be there. Families are like the lasting friends. They teach us to have relationships with other people, how to love, how to get along, how to share, etc. They are the people we can always turn to...and they know us so well. I wouldn't trade anything for my family. My family knows me more than anybody else does. I have a lot of cousins, aunties, and uncles that I haven’t met, but is still family. When you’re in a bad situation, and your friends aren't there, you can turn to family. Because family will stick together forever. Nothing can break my bond with family. That is my blog on what is the most important thing to me in the entire world.

There was a time when somebody was wrong about me. It was during this year (2014). I was working on a project with a partner for one of my classes... We kept on arguing because none of us would do what we supposed to be doing. I told him that I will do this, and he has to do that. After school, I went straight home to work on the project. I wrote down facts, notes, etc... The next day I showed my partner what I did at home. He told me “this is all wrong, where did you get this from?” I told him I got it off the computer. Then I asked him what he did. He never do anything. So I told my teacher that I wanted to work by myself so I had no distractions. The boy I was working with said, “Go right ahead, work without me… you aren't going to pass anyway.” Then the day it was due, I seen that he had nothing to present. I laughed at him. When it was my turn to present, I presented and ended up getting an A+. He thought that I wouldn't pass, but he was wrong!

This next post is going to be about an experience that made me really really happy. It was during the year 2011. It was my first surfing competition. I was scared out of my mind. My mom, brother, sister, and myself woke up around 4 o'clock in the morning to get ready. We packed all the surf boards on the truck. We brought pillows and blankets so we can sleep on the way there. We were heading to Waikiki. When we got there, we ate McDonald's for breakfast. My mom told me not to eat a lot because I might get a sore stomach when I'm out there. My 1st heat was at 9:30 a.m. I took a nap for a good 1 hour and a half. I woke up, and stretched so i can get my muscles warmed up. Then I grabbed my board and started to paddle out. There was at least 5-6 different girls out there. We would wear different color rash guard so the judges know who is who. The horn blew, that was the signal to go. I caught the first wave, it was nice. I think I did better than the other girls ^_^ After my heat was done, me and my mom were listening to who was the winner. And I ended up coming in 1st place. I was super happy. I made it to finals..Then when finals came, I took 3rd. That is my experience that made me really really happy.

My Dream Vacation is to go to Tahiti. I want to go there because it is one of the most BEAUTIFUL tropical islands in the world. Also because there is nice waves to surf over there. Some of the waves in Tahiti is so thick, people can die.The most famous place to surf in Tahiti is at Taapuna & Teahupoo. The waves in Taapuna can go up to 20-25 feet. And in Teahupoo, it can get up to 20-21 feet. Some things you can do in Tahiti is go scuba diving, surf, go boat riding, fishing, cruise on a Catamaran, and many more. I think people would have so much fun if they had a 1-2 week vacation there. The ocean is so pretty and clear. I hope that one day I am going to go to Tahiti with my friends and family.  That is my blog on my dream vacation.
